The sweet melodies and heart-tugging, thought-provoking lyrics that make there way into all Tenth Avenue North songs are now finding there way onto a new live DVD/CD collection from the band’s newest project: Tenth North Live: Inside and In Between. The DVD will be released March 1st, but in the mean time, remember to check out the band’s homepage for a preview video as well as pre-order options.
Included on the DVD is a 45-minute video where viewers can hear lead singer Mike Donehey as he shares the band’s passion for the Gospel and the drive behind their music. Also viewers can explore the deeper message behind Tenth Avenue North songs with video journals from Donehey. The DVD also has “The Story Behind the Band,” with interviews from Mike, Jeff, Jason, and Ruben, sharing their history together from college beginnings to life on the road and on tour.
So how did this powerful group grow from such a humble start to big tours? In reading several interviews and by simply watching one performance, any person can see that these guys truly love God and show this by exercising the talents He’s given them. Not only can this band put on a spectacular performance, but in many concerts, they become worship leaders, unifying all God’s children to worship Him in all different ways.
